Why Us?

National Instruments helps engineers and scientists overcome complexity to exceed even their own expectations. From daily tasks to grand challenges, NI makes a positive impact by doing what it does best—applying engineering expertise toward critical societal issues and equipping customers with tools that accelerate innovation and discovery. From healthcare and automotive to consumer electronics and particle physics, NI provides integrated hardware and software platform to improve our world. If you can turn it on, connect it, drive it, or launch it, chances are NI technology helped make it happen.

The Role

At NI Leuven, we design high performance power conversion systems for test and measurement applications. As a software engineer in the NI Leuven platform team, you will work on software building blocks and infrastructure to realize these systems in an efficient and modular way. This includes distributed control, data logging and processing, hardware and software configuration management, and embedded firmware.

You’ll work on a few bigger projects at the same time, but will also be involved for expert advice on other projects when relevant. As we have a multidisciplinary team, you’ll also be involved in discussions when there’s interaction with mechanical, electrical and electronic processes. This way, you’ll be a valuable team player for actual products and projects.
